Lionsgate Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photographers
Larissa and Aaron scored when they booked their Lionsgate Wedding in Broomfield. What better place for a rustic elegant ceremony, yard games, food trucks, gypsygrass and a Stormtrooper? I can’t think of one.
Rustic Elegant Ceremony for this Lionsgate Wedding
We loved the venue. Everywhere we looked we saw another great spot for photos. We can’t think of better words than what we found on Lionsgate’s Website:
“We welcome all couples in our Colorado wedding venues. The Gatehouse has a grand ballroom, elegant stained glass, antique staircase and other extraordinary features to provide a sophisticated atmosphere. The Dove House with expansive gardens, intimate lighting and an iconic phone booth are perfect for outdoor ceremonies. Any wedding big or small, simple to extravagant our experienced staff will help you find the perfect fit with one of our venues.”
Larissa made sure she looked every bit the elegant bride with a strapless dress from David’s Bridal and shoes from Jessica Simpson. Hair by Sonia Comacho at Studio Boom, makeup by Tessa Capaldi, and flowers by Jacinda Duffy.
Aaron and his groomsmen wore Brooks Brothers suits, Star Wars cuff links and socks.
The lawn area outside the Dove House made a great spot for kids to run off excess energy and provided ample area for numerous lawn games. Larissa and Aaron offered crowd pleasers like cornhole and Giant Jenga.
Food Truck Wedding
We were excited to hear the Comida foodtruck would be at this Lionsgate Wedding. Being Longmonsters, were no strangers to the chic street tacos served up by the mobile kitchen. Yum. Then we heard that Waffle Cakes was there. We almost forgot to take photos. Almost.
Paper Moonshine livened up the reception with their brand of bluegrass that they call Gypsygrass, a combination of Gypsy indie folk that included some bluegrass standards and even some Star Wars thrown in for good measure. Trust us, it’s good stuff!
This wedding wouldn’t be complete without a visit by a friendly Stormtrooper. Larissa surprised her man by having a friend dress up and walk down the aisle. How cool is that?
