Adam and Nicole Pi Fort Collins Wedding
Adam and Nicole are chemists and they are also “planners and savers” as they told us when we first met about their Fort Collins wedding photography. They booked Stark Bellamy two years before their Pi themed Fort Collins Wedding. Yup scientists had a wedding themed after a number, but not just any number, 3.1415…
No wonder they planned ahead, March 14th, 2015 – Pi Day – was also the scheduled date of their wedding. They didn’t stop there, instead of cake there were pies that were round, and, of course, plates are round. If you think about it, there are a whole lot of circles at a wedding, some intentional and others coincidental. Could you have a wedding with out circles? Oval rings and sheet cakes maybe? Think about how important the circle is to weddings. Worst of all, without circles these Colorado Craft Beer super fans would have to drink out of square cans and bottles.
At any rate, the wedding was a blast with scientific themed flower arrangements by Sharon Millis of Best Day Floral Design, featuring beakers and test tubes. There was also a pi-engraved pie pan, dancing, of course, and a drinking game that made us blush a little bit. The whole thing came together beautifully with the planning help of The Gardner Effect.
The greatest part of this geeky wedding was watching a bunch of chemists cut loose and party hard. Check it out!!!
